Those Who Make Peaceful Revolution Impossible Will Make Violent Revolution Inevitable

I will be supporting Donald Trump in 2024. The recent revelations that the Clinton campaign spied on candidate Trump before the election and president Trump after should be enough to see that virtually everything Trump claimed was happening… was actually happening.

So what does this have to do with 2024?  Everything, including the election fraud of 2020.

Every single American with a functioning brain knows that Donald Trump won the election in 2020 and that everyone from Mark Zuckerberg to the mainstream media to the Democrat party to Never Trumper “conservatives” conspired to steal it.  And they did.

Of course the theft of the election comes after four years of continuous attacks.  The genesis of most of those attacks was the activity John Durham laid out on Friday: Hillary Clinton’s funding of the fabrication of data suggesting Trump was colluding with the Russians in order to steal the election.  The entire story was propaganda produced, proffered and peddled by Democrats and parroted and promoted by the media.  And millions of Americans bought it, hook, line and sinker, leading to the appointment of a Special Counsel to investigate ties between the Russians and the Trump campaign.  That Special Counsel and the media’s constant promotion of the “Russian collusion” hoax kneecapped Trump’s administration.

And here’s why there is zero chance I will support anyone over Donald Trump.  In 2016 Americans elected the single most revolutionary president in our history.  Not only had he no political experience and no government employment experience, he had more than a half century of business experience, i.e. building things, solving problems, meeting demands of clients and stakeholders of all stripes… in other words, Trump had a lifetime’s experience of getting things done. (Please spare the histrionics about his failures… The only people who never fail are those who never attempt anything.) And so, after more than half a century of creeping government intrusion into their lives, suffering the compounding effects of perpetual government failure and eight years of feckless incompetence from the Obama administration, Americans voted to put in charge of the government not only a man with decades of experience in getting things done, but the candidate who promised to focus on issues of importance to them, i.e. immigration, energy, government overreach and jobs, all under the banner of “America First”.

The kind of revolutionary change Trump promised is almost unheard of in democratic societies.  Typically change of that magnitude occurs as the result of a coup or someone coming to power legitimately and then changing the rules once they get there, as Hitler and Chavez.  Here in the United States the problems were so clear that Americans decided they needed a revolution in policy but could achieve it at the ballot box, which is exactly what they did. But a funny thing happened on the way to that revolution, it was derailed at every point by Democrats and their comrades in high tech, the media and intelligence. Build a wall?  A judge issues an injunction.  Curtail travel from countries from which terrorism emerges?  The Media hypes “Muslim Ban.” Build a pipeline for energy independence?  Indigenous groups pledge mass mobilizations.  When trying to get anything done Trump found himself faced with investigations, document requests, lawsuits, stonewalling by Democrats and sabotage by civil service apparatchiks and establishment Republicans within the administration.  It was literally unceasing.

Yet, despite all of this, Donald Trump was able to accomplish much, making the nation energy independent for the first time since the 1950’s, bringing black and Hispanic unemployment to the lowest points ever, growing GDP faster than it had in 15 years before Covid hit and filling more court vacancies than any president in 40 years.  On top of that, despite Democrat roadblocks, Trump was able to replace 365 miles of dilapidated wall and build another 40 miles of new wall on the southern border.

Donald Trump walked into January of 2020 as a shoe-in for winning in November.  Through everything that had been thrown at him, he was still standing and was beginning to pick up steam.  Then Democrats got a gift from China:  Covid. Covid, essentially a very very bad flu outbreak, was seized upon by Democrats and every element of the cabal aligned against Trump to become the lever with which they ousted him from power.  When he closed travel from China he was called a racist.  When he discussed examining existing inexpensive treatments such as Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin he was mocked.  When he discussed comments from DHS about different possible cures they accused him of recommending people drink bleach.  When he wanted to balance keeping the economy healthy with keeping citizens healthy they implemented draconian lockdowns. When he implemented Project Warp Speed to streamline regulations to develop a vaccine and promised one by the end of the year, they said it couldn’t be done and regardless, they wouldn’t trust it if one was.  Whatever he did, from making ventilators available to building temporary hospitals to purchasing record amounts of PPE equipment, it was never enough and for good measure they accused him of killing tens of thousands of Americans.

Beyond the personal attacks, the left used Covid as cover for stealing the 2020 election.  From near universal mail in balloting to unconstitutional voting rule changes to outside money using Covid as a cover to infiltrate voting bureaucracies, Covid was the fig leaf behind which Democrats could hide as they ran their coup d'état.

Then, in the midst of the Covid hysteria violent riots broke out across the country in the summer of 2020.  This too was an opportunity to help destroy Donald Trump and the left took full advantage of it, indeed in many cases outright supporting it. The fact that the riots were driven by communist BLM and the fascist “anti – fascists” at Antifa gave the left more opportunities to label Trump a racist and fascist as he sought to quell the violence.

The media, Silicon Valley and big business worked in concert to do everything they could to damage Trump.  From the Russian Collusion, “Fine people” and “Losers & suckers” hoaxes to hiding stories critical of Joe Biden to Pfizer delaying the announcement of their vaccine until after the election, it seems as if the entirety of America’s elite were doing everything they could do to defeat Donald Trump.

And eventually they did.  Not honestly of course, but on January 20th his successor, Joe Biden was sworn in nonetheless.  All of this adds up to the American elites deciding that Donald Trump was too much of a threat to their power to ever allow him to succeed.

In 1962 JFK said “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”  In 2016 Trump promised a revolution in governance and the American people voted him into office.  For the next four years the petrified elites threw everything they had at him yet he persevered.  In 2020 they stole his election victory and installed their puppet in the White House.

That’s not how America works, or at least it’s not how it’s supposed to.  Which is why I’ll be voting for Donald Trump in 2024.  If pleas to decertify the 2020 election fall on deaf ears, we’re left with the 2024 election as the last opportunity to set things straight.  Donald Trump promised the country a peaceful revolution and deserves a real chance to bring it about. The elite have shown themselves to be fascist tyrants who are ready and willing to disregard the Constitution on a whim, and if their extermination of his peaceful revolution is allowed to stand then our future looks as grim as the one Hitler brought to Germany or Chavez brought to Venezuela.  That will not happen.  There too many Americans not willing to go quietly into that good night as their Republic is transformed into an elite driven totalitarian state.  Kennedy was right.

40% of Gen Z Identifies as LBGT... Gee, What Might Cause That?

I was shocked not long ago when I read a piece on the Newsweek website. The headline read “Nearly 40 Percent of U.S. Gen Zs, 30 Percent of Young Christians Identify as LGBTQ, Poll Shows”. That, aside from Joe Biden providing free crack pipes to help address racial inequality, is the most absurd thing I may have ever read. Not so much for the data itself per se, but rather, an illustration of exactly how malleable (and lost) young Americans are.

Whatever the natural percentage of LGBT etc. people in the United States is, it’s sure in hell not 40%. It’s probably closer to low single digits. Whatever it actually is, somehow with the left’s championing the of the rainbow, magically 40% of young people identify with it… not tolerate it, not say no problem with it, not even say, good for them, but against the tide of tens of thousands of years of human history, are now, or at least “identify” as, LBGT etc. That tells you a lot about the state of America today.

That so many young adults are so confused about sexual attraction, one of the most basic and important elements of life, one that most people never even have to question because it’s largely written in our genes, tells you quite a bit about how absurd America has become.

Guaranteed you won’t find this absurdity in nations where people struggle for food, water, shelter and freedom. Guaranteed you won’t find this absurdity in nations where war or terrorism or narco violence is an everyday concern. But you do here, because the United States had done such a spectacular – albeit imperfect – job of meeting the basic needs of life and providing unprecedented prosperity for most Americans that we have 40 million or more young people who have the luxury of navel gazing themselves out of the most basic of biological truths. And just to be clear, these aren’t children, they’re young adults born between 1984 & 2002, or between 20 & 38 years old.

How exactly does that happen? The first prerequisite is fulfillment of life’s basic needs. While we hear stories of poverty and desperation daily in the media, the reality is that most Americans do not struggle to attain the basic needs of life, food, water, shelter, and based on the birthrates of the poorest Americans, companionship. While there are no doubt exceptions to that – as there always are about virtually everything – the reality is that even the poor in the United States live better than the average European.

Beyond those there are myriad opportunities for folly, and in America there is a great deal of that. Much of it is driven by the media / academia / high tech cabal that passes for the intelligentsia in America and is increasingly abetted by big business.

My favorite quote of all time is Voltaire who said “Perfect is the enemy of the good.” Twenty First Century America is that quote incarnate. Rather than reinforcing the basic principles that laid the foundation for American success, things like Christianity, limited government, individual liberty & responsibility, freedom and capitalism, today the intelligentsia cabal spend their time attacking those things in the name of “doing better” or “diversity” or “inclusion”. Online and off they showcase everything in opposition to those values. And it’s never enough to welcome “marginalized” groups into the narrative, rather the culture that built America and the 70% of America that is still white must be demolished: Whites are racist. Capitalism rewards the rich at the expense of the poor. Women earn $.77 to a man’s $1.00. The Founding Fathers were racists and frontier settlers too. Systemic racism keeps minorities in poverty. Republicans hate blacks, immigrants, the poor and the elderly. America was founded to protect slavery, the flag is a symbol of racism and the Pledge of Allegiance is indoctrination into the cult. And of course Aunt Jemima was a symbol of racism and Dr. Seuss books too. Virtually anything traditional in American history is in the crosshairs.

The list of complaints never stops as the victim classes continue to grow, to the point that – no doubt taking their cue from Senator Pocahontas – a third of white students lied about being part of a minority group to improve their chances of acceptance into or gaining financial aid for college!

It is this swamp of equity, “anti-racism”, inclusion and infinite pronouns that today’s young people have grown up . From fake news and safe spaces to woke Madison Avenue and endless Kardashians it’s no wonder they’re confused. With proto CRT movements evolving everywhere from schools and the Pentagon to the Boy Scouts and corporate boardrooms, questioning pretty much everything about life seems almost normal. Gone from sight are “toxic” masculinity, “feminine” beauty, nuclear families and much of what defined America for more than two centuries. In their place are messages that men can get pregnant, hard work and math are racist and human activity is destroying the planet.

While these anti-American and anti-science messages have taken off recently, utterly devoid of common sense as they might be, the vapid culture they dominate today has been in the making for decades, going back to participation trophies, gay scout masters, unisex dorms and welfare programs that ballooned broken families.

And so today we find ourselves in a place where almost half of America’s young people question something almost as fundamental as gravity. They look in the mirror and are not sure who is looking back at them… a boy, a girl or somehow someone in between. That is neither normal nor healthy, for the individuals or society. But of course we’re not allowed to say that… because it’s nature, everyone is different and everyone has the right to decide who they want to be. While ostensibly that is true, in practice just because something happens in nature doesn’t make it normal. Siamese twins happen in nature as do serial killers, but neither is what we would consider normal or desirable.

For years young people have been getting the message in the media and in schools that there are no objective truths, that everything is up for debate, from free speech and capitalism to which gender they are. For ideas, such debates make sense and can help strengthen convictions or prompt evolution, which is the whole point. For biology, sexual attraction and the sense of self, for almost everyone such debates are absurd and introduce unnecessary confusion where none really exists.

The world is a complex place with literally millions of stimuli impacting us every day. Handling the intricacies of daily life as a young person is a challenge in the best of circumstances. Our foundations of biology and puberty and sexual attraction both add to those challenges and help us deal with them. From desire and anticipation to risk and rejection, at the critical years of adolescence few things are more important than having a firm grip on one’s sense of self and attraction. It’s into this maelstrom of youth that the left has introduced a malignant, unnecessary confusion that has 40% of America’s young people unsure about exactly who they are. When you don’t know who’s looking back at you in the morning it’s hard to deal with the challenges of life, nevermind persevere and overcome them. That confusion will have extraordinary consequences for these young people and for society, and none of them will be good.

We're Told Democrats Are Not Our Enemies. Maybe... But They Are Enemies of Freedom and Prosperity

During the late Middle Ages jousting and sacking and pillaging were the normal activities of the day.  1346 was just a normal year and Europe was involved in another of its perpetual wars with the English invading France and others taking up sides.  It was the year after Botticelli was born and right in the heart of the careers of Donatello and Titan.

There was however one event in 1346 that makes it stand out like no other year in human history.  It was the year the Black Death started.  The Black Death was a bubonic plague that struck Europe, Asia and North Africa and killed between 100 and 200 million people.  The plague was brought to Europe from Asia and between 1346 and 1353 it savaged the population.  The population of the entire world at that time is estimated to have been 450 million people and by 1400, almost 50 years after the end of the Black Death, it had only returned to 360 million.

The Black Death was a pandemic, any way you look at it. It was an existential threat to civilization and the continued existence of human life on earth and killed between a quarter and half of the world’s population.

But somehow mankind survived.  Before the century was out Leonardo da Vinci & Michelangelo would burst onto the scene, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Kremlin would be completed and Columbus would sail for the New World. The world faced potential extermination and not only survived, but thrived.  Indeed, upon emerging from the savagery of the Black Death Europe would soon find itself in the Renaissance, a period of some of the greatest artistic, cultural and scientific advances in human history up until that point.

The point here?  Humans are resilient.  Humans adapt.  Humans survive.  Humans are not porcelain dolls, fine china nor Faberge eggs.  Humans are… well… human. They are adaptable, dynamic, intelligent and a thousand other characteristics.   Mankind has survived on this planet for tens of thousands of years, and – mostly – advancing itself all along the way.

But you wouldn’t know it from the last two years.

Across the country Americans find themselves cowering behind required paper masks, locked in their homes or limited to where they can go and what they can do, forced to get shots and in some places required to carry “passports” proving that they are “immunized” against what is apparently the greatest killer humanity has ever seen.  .

In a matter of months the United States went from being a relatively free country to being a police state where the government shut down millions of businesses, closed schools and churches and wouldn’t let families visit dying relatives in hospitals or nursing homes.  They forced ostensibly free citizens to wear masks – even outdoors in some cases – and arrested people for being out of their homes – or for surfing, alone! At the same time the government burdened taxpayers with trillions of dollars of debt, and finally, adding injury to insult, they forced millions of Americans to take shots of a new and unproven vaccine, in many cases against their religious convictions, medical advice, and sometimes even when they already had natural immunity against the very virus the vaccines were supposed to protect them from!  In a matter of months the American economy was disemboweled, millions of American people saw their livelihoods destroyed, their businesses crushed and the American people experienced an evisceration of their rights never before seen in the United States.

Not only did Americans allow their leaders to destroy their economies and much of their lives, they allowed Democrats, big tech, the media and the Swamp to use Covid to undermine the Republic and run a coup that installed a dementia riddled man as President of the United States.

And all for what?  An existential threat to humanity like the Black Death? No. The Latin American Smallpox pandemic that took 50 million lives and killed 90% of the native population in early 16th century? Nope. Or maybe the Spanish Flu that killed nearly 2% of the earth’s population in the early 20th century? Umm… No. It was for a flu like virus that killed a total of 900,000 Americans in two years and 5 million people worldwide. To put that in perspective, that’s about 1/4th of 1% of the American population and the worldwide total is a fraction of that. The reported 450,000 American Covid deaths per year is 150,000 fewer deaths than cancer kills annually and 250,000 fewer than heart disease.

But somehow Americans have given up their freedoms, their livelihoods, their Republic and their bodies all within the expanse of two years.  Now most certainly there are those of us who have been skeptical from the beginning, but across the country large swaths of the American population are comfortable with fascism as long as it masquerades as being driven by “science” and in the service of “protecting the vulnerable”.  Americans gave up 250 years of the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution in the service of a virus from which 99.8% of people recover and those who don’t have an average age of 74 and are afflicted with 2.9 co-morbidities, with hypertension, obesity and diabetes being the most common of them!

A decade ago I wrote a piece titled:  “Can A Nation Built By Giants Survive Nanny State Paternalism? The Numbers Don't Look Good...” discussing how America had gone from a nation of supermen forging a country out of the wilderness to a disability and food stamp addled morass.  The truth is, what Covid has wrought – or more accurately what we have allowed our leaders to do because of Covid – is far worse.  At least when the country was full of people with their hands out seeking government largesse, those not comfortable being on the public dole could go about their lives largely as they saw fit.  But with Covid, what was previously just a nanny state suddenly became a state of tyranny.

To understand how this happened, recognize that virtually no government employees lost their jobs or incomes because of Covid.  Very few white collar workers, those with the most education and the most telecommute friendly jobs lost their employment or incomes because of Covid. And big business in general and the high tech and pharmaceutical industries in particular flourished under Covid.  By contrast, private blue collar industries, entrepreneurs and small businesses were hammered, with millions of jobs lost and hundreds of thousands of companies shuttered.  Those most in favor of the draconian lockdowns and mandates are those white collar types and those on government assistance or payroll… essentially those upon whom the Covid hysteria’s impact was felt the least, while those most opposed to the tyranny were truckers, hairdressers, gym owners and other blue collar types who bore the brunt of the regulations.  Ask yourself who these two groups vote for and you’ll understand how we got here…

We’re told we have to be civil and that Democrats are our opponents, not our enemies. That may indeed be true.  Democrats may not be your enemy – that’s arguable of course – but they most certainly are enemies of freedom.  They were willing to eviscerate 250 years of freedom in order to expunge from the White House the single biggest threat to the power of the swamp in American history.  The fact that they could get away with it using a virus with a 99.8% survival rate tells you how many Americans have little common sense and even less of an appreciation for the value of freedom or its fragility.

Perhaps America can take a page from Europe and emerge from Covid to enter a new Renaissance, but that will not happen with Democrats or their RINO comrades in office.  Anywhere, anytime, anyplace, from dog catcher to governor to president, if the goal is freedom and prosperity, no Democrat or RINO should ever be considered for a position of responsibility in America.  If they're allowed to get away with foisting the last two years on the country over Covid, imagine what they will do with a real existential threat, like… say, climate change.
