Hero or Traitor: From Benedict Arnold to John Thune and the writing of history

Dear Leader Thune,

From 1776 to today the total number of Americans is estimated to have been around 600 million.  That’s about twice what the population is today.  One wonders how many historical figures most Americans can name.  There are of course the obvious ones like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and MLK who are probably at the top of the list for most Americans.  They were all known for having done great things. 

Most of the rest no one remembers.  According to Grok “The average American can likely freely name 10–30 historical figures without much prompting—mostly U.S. presidents, Founding Fathers, major civil rights icons, and a few global names like Einstein, Hitler, or Napoleon—depending on education, age, and interest in history.”  Sure, guys like Victor Davis Hansen and Al Franken could probably rattle off thousands, but for the mere mortals among us, a hundred or two probably tops us out. 

There is one name however that, while it likely doesn’t come up in the first go around for most Americans, is certainly known by a majority:  Benedict Arnold.

Arnold was a brilliant general and a true American hero.  In fact, the United States may never have succeeded in defeating the British had it not been for him.  He was the second in command to the feckless and incompetent General Horatio Gates at Saratoga in September of 1777.  At the time the Americans were on the ropes, they had lost New York, had just taken another beating at Brandywine and were in the process of losing their capital, Philadelphia, for the second time in less than a year. 

What’s more, their pleas for assistance across Europe were falling on deaf ears.  No one wanted to waste resources on some bedraggled rebels who didn’t have enough munitions, supplies or experience to take on the most powerful military in the world.  Giving them money was a great way to go broke while antagonizing an enemy. Things were looking very bleak indeed.

So this was the background in mid-September when General Gates wanted to take a cautious approach at Saratoga, despite having the British General John Burgoyne’s troops outnumbered 9,000 to 7,000. Arnold was vociferous about being more aggressive and eventually Gates relented.  The battle ended as a draw, but the patriots had held their ground and survived. Nonetheless, Gates’ and Arnold’s relationship had deteriorated to the point that Gates dismissed him. 

Three weeks later the second of Saratoga’s battles would take place and Arnold wasn’t about to stand around and do nothing. Without authorization he rode out into the battlefield, led the men on horseback and played a pivotal role in the decisive assault that resulted in the British surrender and the capture of 6,000 of Burgoyne’s men.

The victory at Saratoga, something of a shot heard round the world, was very possibly the single most important engagement in the war. That battle signaled to the rest of the world that the rebels just might be able to beat the British and convinced European powers, particularly the French, to support the Americans with men and money.  And without Arnold, it’s possible that none of that would have come about. We can’t know for sure, but Arnold, was hailed as a hero.

But that’s not how he’s remembered. No, the hero who played what might have been the most critical role in the most important battle of the American revolution is instead remembered as a traitor. 

Unhappy with the way he was treated by Congress and highly in debt, Arnold allowed his loyalist wife to lead him to betray the country by attempting to give the British the fort at West Point, which was strategically located above the Hudson River.

Sure, that was 250 years ago, but the name Benedict Arnold is one of the very few that Americans still remember. And it’s not just because he was a traitor. We’ve had lots of traitors, from the Rosenbergs to Aldrich Ames to half the Obama and Biden administrations, but Arnold’s name endures because of when he played his role, at the moment the country was being born.

Which is where you come in.  The United States is at a precipice. If we learned anything from 2020 it’s that there is a massive cheating machine running through the heart of America.  Across the country Americans watched as that election was literally hijacked. For four years anyone who suggested the country had been the victim of a coup d'état were called conspiracy nuts and insurrectionists.

Today we know it’s true and a vast majority of Americans – tellingly, including Democrats, who will likely lose votes – support Voter ID and the SAVE Act. The reality is, if you do not pass the SAVE Act, America will go the way of Virginia and New York City, where a small concentrated elite will convince a majority of the population they are moderates and then govern like Communists once they get in office. A free United States will not survive another wave of elections where just enough fraudulent votes are manufactured that “moderate” Democrats are installed and who then rule as tyrants.

And once the American Republic has collapsed and the country is thrown into a hot civil war, history will wonder how the greatest nation in the world shattered into a million pieces without anyone stopping what was so obviously a fatal condition.   

History will then look back on 2026 and find its villain, in the person of John Thune, the man who stood in the way when 85% of the American people wanted to fix this fatal flaw.  Think about that. Benedict Arnold’s name lives on as a symbol of treachery when in fact at the time between 1/3 and ½ of the country wanted to remain loyal to Britain. And here you are defying the wishes of 85% of the American people for God knows what reason. You will be to the American Republic what Brutus was to the Roman Republic. For generations your progeny will be labeled as the spawn of a traitor. 

The incredible thing is, you have the opportunity to do something that most Senators, indeed, most men, never get a chance to do: Impact history writ large.  Few men in history have stood where you do, at a crossroads where the choices are so stark and monumental for the future. One road leads to a leftist dystopia in which freedom and prosperity are extinguished under a Democrat tyranny imposed under the guise of diversity, equity and inclusion.  The other leads to the messy chaos of freedom and Capitalism, an imperfect combination that nonetheless powers the long-term march of prosperity.

Most men don’t get the opportunity to write their story on the stage of history. You actually do, in real time. There have been a few dozen men who have occupied the position you hold, and probably less than 1% of Americans can name a single one of them.  You have the opportunity to embrace saving America, becoming the champion of freedom and literally saving the Republic. In a universe where very few legislators can be seen as champions for freedom, you have the opportunity to become one. Sure, getting the SAVE Act through the Senate is probably a lot like herding cats, but that’s the job you signed up for. 

Which legacy will you leave behind, freedom and prosperity or a dystopian tyranny? Because that’s the choice you’re faced with.  Choose carefully, because history’s being written, both yours and ours.

The SAVE Act: Donald Trump's Place in History Will Be Defined by Whether He Saves the Republic, Period.

Recently I wrote a piece that received some pushback.  I wondered if Donald Trump was making the same mistake as George Bush Sr. did when he broke his “Read my lips:  No new taxes” pledge. 

If you read my work regularly, you’ll notice a decidedly clear bias towards warnings of doom.  It’s not my default position that life is nothing but doom and gloom. On the contrary. I actually have a website that explicitly talks about how good we have things and encourages gratitude for the American entrepreneurs and inventors who made our lives possible. In a universe where most of history was characterized by scarcity, war, slavery and early death, most Americans today have relatively extraordinary lives. 

Everything we have today came about as the result of the hard work of generations of people who left us this legacy.  From the Founding Fathers leaving us the Constitution to Grant defeating the South to Rockefeller rationalizing energy to Jobs putting the Internet in our hands, everything we have in the 21^st century came from the efforts of countless numbers of long dead people, as well as, often, our own efforts.

To the degree that one can identify the elements that made the last 250 years so different from any prior period, it was the combination of the individual freedom, free markets, private property and limited government.  Those elements laid the foundation for a nation to spread across a continent, become an industrial juggernaut and become an economic powerhouse able to promote freedom and prosperity to billions of people around the world.

That anger sometimes reflected in my writing is because the government, over the last 50 years, has done virtually everything it can to undermine that success. On almost every front, government has gotten itself involved in areas where it has no place, no constitutional authority, and regardless of how ineffective, pernicious or downright harmful its actions are, nobody ever does anything about it. The borg like government, with its tentacles attaching to ever more elements of American life, and tightening its grip, is killing the goose that laid the golden egg.  Look no farther than GDP growth. Below is a chart of average annual GDP growth by decade since 1950:

1950s: 4.2% 

1960s: 4.5% 

1970s: 3.2% 

1980s: 3.1% 

1990s: 3.2% 

2000s: 1.9% 

2010s: 2.4% 

2020s: 2.4% 

To understand how much of a problem that is, understand that in the 1950s computers were the size of a house and could do 5,000 calculations per second.  Today a computer fits in the palm of your hand and is literally billions of times faster.  Yet our GDP growth is almost half as much, but should be double.

If you want to know why, despite the fact that we are so much more efficient and have far better and more tools at our disposal, our GDP is half what it used to be, the answer is Government. Perhaps the only thing that has grown more than computer power over the last half century is government power. They have intruded on practically every single aspect of our lives, from mandating the ability to remotely turn off our cars to requiring those tags on your mattress to telling you the makeup of your neighborhood. And sadly, while they’re busy promoting the butchering of some children and the trafficking of others, they fail at the basic elements of government such as maintaining law and order, keeping our borders secure and not sending money to dead people. 

The tentacles of Government are everywhere, like a cancer that knows no bounds and for which there is no cure.  Of course, theoretically there is a cure for all of this: elections.  But the government has somehow managed to manipulate them so that regardless of who gets elected in either party, we basically get the same policies.  Sure, some things may change around the edges, but for the most part the Swamp reigns and nobody does anything about it. The budgets basically remain the same, the programs largely stay the same and the controlling elites basically rotate between government, NGOs and corporate boardrooms.    

And here’s where my piece talking about Trump betraying his voters comes into play.  I could spend my time showcasing the great things he has done, and he has done many, but I focus on the fact that if he doesn’t deal with the gun pointed at the head of the Republic, none of that matters. 

For Democrats cheating is simply their MO. Between importing new illegal voters, manipulating the voting apparatus, and fighting Voter ID, Democrats have basically wiped out GOP representation in New England despite the fact that 30-40% of the population in those areas are Republicans.  Democrats will destroy the Republic the next time they get power, and if Donald Trump doesn’t start acting like a leader with something to fight for, there won’t be anything left to fight for.

Once back in power, Democrats will kill that American goose.  They will manipulate voting rules to turn the country writ large into the dysfunctional cesspools they’ve created in Illinois, Maryland, California, etc.  They will expand the problems of San Francisco, Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, et. al. into the suburbs and eventually across the country. They will utilize every lever of government power to eviscerate the foundations of freedom that made the country great in the first place.

But it doesn’t have to be.  But unfortunately we’re watching Senate leader John Thune betray Americans on easily the lowest hanging fruit ever in American history, the SAVE act. You can say that Trump doesn’t run Congress or the Senate, which is true, but he is still the president with the largest soapbox on the planet, on an issue so powerful that even a majority of Democrats support it.  Trump should call on and or call out every GOP Senator who is standing in his way.  He should do rallies in their states and encourage citizens to reach out and sway them.  He should utilize every one of the substantial levers of power at his disposal to convince them to pass it. 

The reality is, the SAVE act (which isn’t perfect, as it currently doesn’t outlaw the insane policy of letting illegals have Social Security numbers) and its companion deportations, are where the tire hits the road relative to a free Republic. Literally, if we do not put in place guarantees for honest elections now, the country will be as blue as the California House delegation within a decade. 

The SAVE act is not sufficient to guarantee honest elections, but it’s a first step. As for my regular warnings of doom, I wish I could spend my time commenting on the new arch going up in Arlington or the new White House ballroom, but the reality is, those are of no real consequence.  If Donald Trump doesn’t focus on guaranteeing secure elections, neither will matter because both will end up as symbols not of a great hero who saved the Republic, but rather of the man who failed to save it when he had the chance.

Russian Roulette 2026: How “principled” GOP Senators are betraying Trump, MAGA and the American people.

Back in 2016, I, along with a lot of people, made the argument that that election was critical to the future of the country.  It was and America made the right choice.  I made the same argument in 2020 and while America made the right choice the Democrats ran a coup d'état and we suffered through four years of watching whoever was controlling Joe Biden basically run the country into the ground.  Then, two years ago I made the same argument, that basically, if America made the wrong choice the Republic was going to soon find its end.  Thankfully America made the correct choice again.

But, “Come on,” you’re probably saying, “America can’t be on the cusp of collapse at virtually every election. You’re just fearmongering…”  Well, that’s not technically true.  Just because you survive three pulls of the trigger in a game of Russian Roulette doesn’t mean the next one can’t kill you.

Of course 2028 is a long way off and a lot can happen between now and then.  But the truth is, 2026 is here and while we may be playing with a smaller caliber weapon, the potential damage is almost as great… as has been demonstrated by the last few weeks, and the last few days in particular.

As it relates to the last few weeks, I’m of course talking about Nick Shirley putting a spotlight on the Democrat enabled Somalian treachery in Minnesota.  I’m not actually talking about the money being stolen from taxpayers, per se.  No, as bad as that is on its face, what’s worse is what it communicates about the modus operandi of Democrats around the country: i.e. import 3^rd world immigrants and figure out ways to enrich them at the public trough. That same kind of model is happening across the country from Maine to Maryland to California and countless states in between.  Different groups, different scams, same result: public money that makes its way into the hands of immigrants and magically comes out the other side as votes for Democrats.

To put something of a fine point on it, Kevin Bass just did a great analysis looking at states Americans are moving into or out of, correlated by those who provide benefits to illegal aliens vs. those who don’t.  Not surprisingly, 9 out of the top 10 states from which Americans are fleeing provide benefits to illegals while 9 out of the top 10 states to which Americans are heading, don’t.  Not coincidentally, 9 out of 10 of the first group are Democrat states while 9 out of 10 of the second are Republican.  The bottom line is, Democrats increasingly don’t represent the values or interests of Americans and are systematically replacing American voters with immigrants, most of whom are illegal. 

And if there were any question as to whether this is really going on, we don’t have to wonder, courtesy of leftist CIA agent and new Virginia governor, Abigail Spanberger.  What was her first official act as governor?  Why rescind ex-Gov. Glenn Youngkin’s executive order that required Virginia law enforcement to cooperate with ICE, of course.  Literally the first thing she did was basically turn the once red state into a sanctuary state.  Democrats, who now control both houses and the governor’s office quickly introduced a phalanx of hard left policies such as guaranteeing illegal aliens free education, making it illegal to hand count ballots and requiring government award 42% of their programs based on DEI criteria.

So what does this have to do with 2026?  Everything.

As it stands right now, 2026 is going to be a bloodbath for the GOP.  Almost across the board you see Republican voters angry and upset with the GOP.  Have they cut spending?  No.  Have they shut down the federal grift mills that funnel money to leftists?  No.  But most importantly, have they done something, anything on election integrity?  No. 

If there is any one issue that animates Americans in 2026 it’s voter ID, AKA election integrity.  Why?  Because virtually everything about government funnels into or out of it.  From Democrats importing 3^rd world voters to trillions of dollars that goes to support illegals to the cancer of local Democrat rule, it’s all part of the election integrity ecosystem. 

But the Republicans in the Senate don’t care about that.  They, like elites everywhere sit back in their cushy offices with their guaranteed paychecks, armed security and safe neighborhoods and laugh at the hard working Americans who are paying taxes to support illegals, fighting to keep their homes and looking over their shoulders for criminals loosed on the world by Democrats.  How can we tell?  Because the blind squirrel GOP over in the House accidentally tripped over a nut and sent the SAVE act to the Senate last April.  And what has the Senate done with it? Nothing.

“But,” you might say, “almost every GOP Senator states that they are in favor of the SAVE act.”  Sure they do. Even Mr. Ethanol himself Chuck Grassley did a flip flop in less than 24 hours after he stated very clearly that he would not support it. 

So there we go. We should get it. But no, we don’t. We can’t.  Why, because Americans are being forced to play Russian Roulette, only instead of one round and five empty chambers, we’re playing with all six chambers loaded… and there are a bunch of backup rounds nearby in case one falls out.  And what are those chambers loaded with you might ask?  Senators! 

In order for the SAVE act to pass, currently the filibuster needs to be overcome. But the reality is, it doesn’t.  All we need are 50 Senators to vote to eliminate the filibuster and VP Vance would break the tie.  But we can’t get those 50 Senators because there are almost a dozen GOP traitors who would rather allow Democrats to destroy America so they can pat themselves on the back that they didn’t nuke the filibuster. 

These hypocrite GOP Senators pretend they are doing the people’s work, but in reality they’re doing anything but.  From stealing elections to funding fraud to basically legalizing crime across the country, Democrats are no longer representing Americans.  They are purposefully turning America into a failed 3^rd world dystopia.  And by not eliminating the filibuster (something Democrats will do the first opportunity they get…) these Senators are basically shrugging their shoulders and saying “I didn’t do that.” But in reality, they did.  It’s like watching a man drowning and standing on the dock with a life preserver but refusing to throw it to him.  Sure, you can technically say you didn’t drown him, but you’re responsible for his death nonetheless.

For anyone paying attention over the last decade, it’s crystal clear that the filibuster serves only to block Republicans.  From the moment Harry Reid changed the rules for presidential appointments in 2013 it’s been clear where that road leads.  But treacherous Senators like Mike Crapo, Tom Tillis, James Lankford and the other grifters pretend they’re being principled by not eliminating it.  They’re not, unless their principles include eviscerating the Trump agenda, sidelining the MAGA movement and betraying the American people. Because that’s what happens in January 2027 when the Democrats take the House and perhaps even the Senate this November.

Will Trump Be Julius Caesar or Augustus? 2026 Is His Last Chance to Crush the Deep State and Save America

It's not often life gives nations real second chances when it comes to the big things, but in America’s case it did. My only hope is that we don’t squander it… or to be more precise, I hope Donald Trump doesn’t squander it. The 2026 midterms are less than a year away, that makes what he does in the next six to eight months monumentally important. 

The bottom line is, does he want to be consequential or just well known?  Julius Caesar is easily one of the most well-known men in history, but was he really that consequential? The truth is, no. We know more about Caesar than any other Roman not because he changed the world, but because he was a genius of propaganda and wrote prodigiously – and well – about his exploits. The reality is, Caesar was just another Roman general – albeit a great one – caught up in a century of internecine wars between men seeking to control the Republic. Augustus, his adopted son – who is far less well known in history – was far more consequential, having transformed the Republic into an Empire that would arguably last another 1500 years. 

Is Donald Trump going to be Caesar or Augustus? Is he going to be a president who rearranges the deckchairs on the USS Titanic and simply slows down her eventual collision with the iceberg or is he going to steer her through the treacherous waters and bring her out safely on the other side?

When he won re-election last November I was certain that after enduring 8 years of what is easily the most vitriolic abuse any American politician had ever endured, he was going to return to Washington and metaphorical heads were going to roll.  Indeed, he ran on the idea of destroying the deep state.    

Now, a year after the election, I’m not so sure. While I applaud most of his moves on immigration, particularly his recent move to temporarily cease all immigration from 3^rd world countries, there are two elements that cause concern.  One is his support for the H1B visa program. If there are jobs that can’t be filled by Americans, then bringing in foreign workers who have the necessary skills makes sense for keeping American industry productive.  But that’s not what’s happening. Hundreds of thousands of foreign workers, primarily Indians, are being brought in to supplant American workers companies would generally have to pay more to keep or hire.  There is no shortage of American STEM workers, there are merely trillion dollar tech, consulting and other companies who simply want to bolster the bottom line by paying foreign workers lower wages. Sadly, Trump defends the program virtually every chance he gets.  Add to that his allowing half a million students / spies from Communist China to remain at American universities and one begins to wonder whose payrolls Trump’s advisors are on. 

Another area where Trump has not met expectations is taking on the leftist cabal that brought the nation to the brink of disaster over the last decade.  From Barack Obama to Hillary Clinton and the army of anti-American traitors who worked against Trump, his allies, and the American people, Trump should establish a task force with the specific purpose of investigating every single member of the government or NGO and every financier who had anything to do with Russiagate as well as the coup / coverup of 2020 and the resulting J6 persecutions.  Americans know what happened, we watched it in real time. Molly Ball crowed about it in TIME magazine, we read about it in Mollie Hemingway’s Rigged, and later we followed as Emerald Robinson pulled string after string… but what we don’t have, and need, is the entire case of the treachery laid out in black and white, and then see the guilty tried and punished.  As we all learned in the OJ trial, juries can’t always be trusted, but at a minimum the information should be laid out for the American people to see so that they can vote accordingly. The recent arrest of the DC pipe-bomb suspect and Kash Patel’s announcement that it was based on information the FBI sat on for 4 years tells us that the information is there, it just takes an administration with sufficient courage to expose it. 

Hand in hand with allowing that treachery to go unpunished is the fact that Trump has not put his shoulder into ensuring the passage of the SAVE act. Indeed, New England, which is about 40% Republican, has 21 House seats and 100% of them are Democrat. That’s not good.  Democrats win by cheating.  Period. The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act would require Voter ID, proof of U.S. citizenship and outlaw most mail-in voting. Strong-arming Congress, which the GOP theoretically controls, into passing SAVE would do more for saving the Republic than almost any other thing he could do. If Trump wants to maintain GOP control over Congress and have any chance of fixing the country, he needs to fix the voting system now, because we know the second the SAVE act is passed there’s an army of treacherous federal judges who will seek to derail it.

Which brings us to the last critical issue, the Judiciary. Since 2015 federal judges across the country have acted as the rear guard for the Obama plan of “Fundamentally transforming the United States of America” into a leftist nirvana. From nationwide injunctions to throwing out cases to seeking to exercise Executive power, the federal judiciary has become untethered to the Constitution. The traditional way such overreach is addressed is that cases make their way through the appellate process where SCOTUS may or may not eventually rectify the problem. But that system breaks down as a viable solution when fast approaching elections that decide the direction of the government are concerned. Congress must act to address this judicial overreach. 

As such, Trump should work with Congress to utilize their Article III powers to fix this.  I’d suggest two possible avenues: 

1) Congress abolishes the entire judiciary below SCOTUS and remakes it with a far more limited and constitutional judiciary.

2) Congress sets up a separate parallel federal court channel that would deal exclusively with election and Executive power related issues so that they can be argued in a timely fashion and be resolved long before they become moot.

Decades from now Donald Trump is going to be remembered.  The question is, will he be remembered as a celebrity president who attracted a great deal of attention and simply slowed the collapse as the nation calcified into a failed dystopia driven by big government and big spending, or is he going to be remembered as an heroic, mythic figure who fought back the leftist tide and put America back on firm, limited government, Constitutional footing, giving her a real opportunity to survive another 250 years?  I guess we’ll see…

Ronald Reagan Showed What Honest Elections Bring - Democrats Knew They Were In Trouble

I would argue that aside from 1860, 1984 was the most important election in American history thus far. Ronald Reagan was running against Jimmy Carter’s vice president Walter Mondale.  America, at the end of the Carter administration was beleaguered, both emotionally and economically. The Iranian Hostage countdown had Americans glued to their television sets and the combination of double digit inflation and interest rates would knock them for a loop through the first couple of Reagan’s years.

But then Reagan’s policies began to kick in. Lower taxes, less regulation and increased energy output put the country on a path that would generate GDP growth of 7.2% in 1984, a number not seen since 1951 and one we’ve not seen since. At the same time, Reagan’s rebuilding of the American military and his unwavering support of freedom in the face of Communism made Americans feel confident on the world stage for the first time in two decades.

All of this translated into something unprecedented in American history.

In 1788 and 1792 George Washington won both elections by unanimous Electoral College votes.  Following that, in 1820 James Monroe won every state and every Elector except for one.

From that point forward no president ever won every state or the Electoral College by a unanimous vote.  A couple came close, including FDR winning all states but two in 1936 and Nixon winning 49 states in 1972, losing one state, Massachusetts, and DC. 

In 1984 Reagan equaled Nixon’s feat and won every single state other than one, Minnesota, Mondale’s home state, and DC. So, since 1968 the GOP had triumphed in 4 out of 5 elections and in only 12 years had twice won with 49 of 50 states. For Democrats, that could not stand…

They knew that if they didn’t do something, they’d find themselves in a wilderness like they’d never seen before.  And do something they did.  The first thing they did was to dupe Ronald Reagan into signing the 1986 Immigration and Border Control Act into law.  In “exchange” for making 2.7 million illegals citizens, the Democrats (assisted by worthless Republicans led by the feckless Alan Simpson) promised to build a wall on the southern border. 

The Democrats got their 3 million new voters, but Reagan and America didn’t get their wall.  As a result of that, today we have upwards of 30 million illegals in the country and Democrats who want to let them vote and or  make them citizens! And it worked. In 1992 California, Illinois, Massachusetts and other immigrant heavy states turned blue for the first time since 1964 and have never turned back.  

But lying to Reagan wasn’t the only thing Democrats did. Always keeping their eyes on the long game, they recognized that having millions of new illegals doesn’t help them a lot if they can’t vote. (Although they skew Congressional apportionment, typically towards Democrats.)  So they set in place a plan that would eventually allow them to register to vote.  That plan was the 1993 Motor Voter Act, signed by Bill Clinton and ostensibly sold as a law make it easier to register “underrepresented” voters. 

At the time illegals weren’t allowed to get licenses in the United States, but again, Democrats were playing the long game and today 19 states and the District of Columbia do provide them.  And to no one’s surprise, almost every one of those states is blue.  Together these states represent 230 of the 270 Electoral College votes necessary to win the White House and eventually the law morphed into a vehicle facilitating immigrants and illegals registering to vote.   

But like any good insurgency, the Democrats had multiple areas of attack. Beyond flooding the country with new Democrats, they were doing other things as well.

One of those was extending the voting window. This one would seem like it’s bipartisan as it applies equally to everyone.  But not so much. There’s a reason most negotiators will tell you to let the other person make the first offer in a negotiation.  Aside from the power dynamic, it gives you insight into what cards your opponent is holding.  The same holds true here.  It’s much easier to understand how many votes you need to manufacture if you know in advance what the numbers against you are.  That’s exactly what we saw in 2020 when as the 3^rd of November closed out Donald Trump was ahead in a handful of states that flipped to Joe Biden by just enough votes to win. Georgia with 4.9 million votes was decided by 11,800 votes or less than .2% of the total votes.  Arizona, with 3.3 million votes was decided by 10,400, or .3% of the total.  Similarly Wisconsin, with 3.2 million votes cast was decided by 20,000 votes, or .6%.  Together those three states represent 37 Electoral College votes, which are exactly the number necessary to flip the election from Trump to Biden. Then of course there’s machine voting. Although the two parties have gone back and forth over this for years, the reality is, and always has been that they are simply computers which are easily hackable.  Despite years of Democrats claiming machine voting was unsafe, immediately after Trump “lost” we were told 2020 was the most secure election ever, this despite overwhelming proof that Dominion and other machines are not, in fact, even remotely secure.

The Holy Grail of Democrat cheating is mail in voting.  Like computer voting, mail in voting provides endless opportunities for cheating, such as retirement home and homeless vote harvesting, as well as eliminating signature verification. Indeed, in 2020 Democrats used the COVID hysteria to change voting laws and balloon mail in voting across the country so that by election day over 65 million people or 1/3 of the electorate had already voted via mail.

And even for those who actually turn up to vote in person, Democrats make it easy to cheat.  Democrats have fought voter ID laws for decades. If a picture is worth a thousand words a picture of a Voter ID map is worth countless elections. As one can see, almost every Democrat state has no Voter ID while almost every solidly GOP state requires photo ID. This, despite the fact that 80% of Americans support Voter ID laws. (In Europe, which Democrats aspire to emulate, 46 out of 47 countries require photo ID to vote.)

There’s more of course, from fighting efforts to clean up voter rolls to using lawfare to harm opponents, to using government agencies to quash free speech, but the bottom line is, Democrats cheat every opportunity they get, because they simply can’t win otherwise.

As America careens towards the most consequential election in our history, one that presents a stark choice between an imperfect but competent patriot and a Communist imbecile in Democrat clothing, Republicans need to understand what they are up against. A Democrat party that will sacrifice everything, from children to communities to the lives of citizens in their quest for power will eliminate the Constitution and the Republic without hesitation.
