10 Things Donald Trump Can Do To Make America Great Again

As I wrote last week, I think Donald Trump is going to win. I think he’ll take office in January, but the two months between will be chock full of Democrat tricks trying to delegitimize his victory, coordinated riots seeking to push America into chaos before he’s inaugurated, and the swamp seeking to do everything it can to insulate itself from the potential consequences of a Trump presidency. 

January 20, 2025 will not be a checkered flag moment. On the contrary, it will be the starting line for a four year race to save the nation.  As such, we need to look at what exactly needs to be done going forward and below is a list of 10 things President Trump needs to do. There’s much more, but I’d suggest this is a place to start.

#1 – Seal the border and deport all 30 million illegal immigrants. Just like last time, Democrats, RINOs and activist judges are going to try and stop him.  He cannot let them succeed.  Begin by declaring the nation is under assault and deploying the Army to the border until the wall is complete. The first step in deporting the millions of illegals is stopping all of their benefits. Next, given that they will need food and shelter when the benefits are curtailed, establish exit processing centers where they can come and find shelter and food and be processed out of the country.  Next, stop all federal funds from going to “sanctuary” states and cities who do not cooperate.  Finally, enforce federal legislation against hiring illegals, and send employers to jail.  Of course none of this will be enough, but it’s a beginning.

#2 – Resurrect the 10^th Amendment.  For those who don’t remember, the Amendment reads: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Most of the things the federal government does are simply unconstitutional. Assign a crack team of constitutional scholars / lawyers to go over the federal government with a fine tooth comb. Starting with the federal government’s list of its own agencies, examine every single department and agency and highlight those for which there is clear Constitutional authority. For every other one, craft a plan for their dissolution. For easy things like NPR, PBS, NEA etc. which are inconsequential, make the dissolution immediate. For others, like HHR and other wealth redistribution programs, where sometimes generations of families have been raised to suckle at the government teat, create a three year plan that reduces their budget by 33% a year for three years, ending with the complete dissolution at the beginning of year four.  For those agencies / departments that remain, implement zero based budgeting so that they are forced every single year to make the case for the money they are seeking from the federal government. 

#3 – Restructure the Justice Department, the FBI the CIA and the Pentagon.  Fire the leadership of all four – up to and including the top 100 senior managers / officers of each with severance packages. Investigate every one of them and for those suspected of treason / incompetence over the last eight years and charge them. For the rest, give them the opportunity to demonstrate they deserve to be part of the organization if they’d like their jobs back. Their success on that score should be based on two things, competency and a demonstrated allegiance to the Constitution. 

#4 – Ban every DEI program and race or sex based program in the United States government.  Make it crystal clear to Americans that every single job, scholarship or contract associated with the federal government is based on one single thing, merit.  At the same time make it known that corporations making policy based on DEI and the climate change cult are violating their fiduciary responsibility and that officers and directors collectively and individually are liable for those violations. 

#5 – Abolish the IRS and the income tax and implement a flat tax or better yet, the FairTax.  This will, perhaps more than anything but the 10^th Amendment action above, drive a stake through the heart of the swamp beast.  There is a reason that the seven richest counties in America (out of a total of 3,143) are suburbs of Washington, DC: government and lobbying.  And few things drive more lobbying than tax breaks. 

#6 – Negotiate a peace between Russia and Ukraine.  Neither wanted this war and a month after Russia invaded there was a peace deal on the table both supported, until it was torpedoed by Joe Biden.  This useless and wasteful war is accomplishing nothing while costing hundreds of thousands of lives and causing trillions of dollars of damage to the participants and the rest of the world. 

#7 – Remove the United States from the Paris Climate Accord. This globalist, anti-capitalist fiction is nothing more than an attempt to give elites control over the lives of citizens around the world and drives the destruction of prosperity everywhere its tentacles reach.  At the same time, eliminate every “climate change” or “green energy” driven policy in the federal government and make a plan for unleashing America’s true energy potential from fracking and nuclear power.

#8 – Use Congressional power vested in it by Article I, Section 4, Clause 1 of the Constitution (the Elections Clause) to guarantee federal election integrity by requiring Voter ID and paper ballots in every state and outlaw mail in ballots for anyone other than the military. 

#9 – Craft a plan that sunsets every law and regulation in the federal register within a decade.  Put a framework in place for Congress to reevaluate every law on the books over the following ten years and each one should face a renewal vote. Those that pass with 60% of both houses can remain on the books indefinitely while all others sunset after a decade unless passed again. 

#10 – Pass a law that explicitly states that it is illegal for government agencies to coerce or motivate private enterprises to accomplish desired tasks that are illegal for the government to do on its own.  This applies to bank coercion of disapproved industries, data gathering on US citizens or censorship of free speech among others. 

Of course, as Trump learned in his first term, the swamp is a tenacious beast that will not go gently into that good night.  There will be gnashing of liberal teeth, there will be activist judges with God complexes trying to throw judicial roadblocks everywhere and there will be RINO calls to work across the isle.  He should ignore all of that and march swiftly towards returning the government to its originally intended, natural, limited state.  Doing so will unleash an economic and entrepreneurial juggernaut never before seen and will be sufficient to create a giant budget surplus.  That surplus will be sufficient to eliminate the national debt in less than a generation and with it will go most of the problems America faces today. 

There’s of course much more, but if he does half the things on this list Trump will easily have earned himself a place on Mt. Rushmore.

In March of 1962 JFK observed that “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”  Sixty years later his words resonate. 

We are seeing the foundations laid for a revolution.  Whether that revolution is peaceful or violent remains to be seen.  With virtually every society over time power becomes accumulated into the hands of the few elites.  Those elites in turn run the nation as their personal fiefdoms where they utilize the machinery of the state to enrich themselves, accumulate power and use trifles to appease the exponentially larger population of serfs they rule over. 

This reality applies to monarchies, to Communist tyrannies, to “democracies”, theocracies and even, as we’re coming to discover, republics.  It doesn’t have anything to do with economics either as it occurs in capitalist states, socialist states, Communist states and mercantile states.  The only difference is how long it takes for the structure to collapse. It took the Roman Republic 500 years to collapse, the French monarchy 1,000 years, the Soviet Union 70 years and the EU is shaky after just 30 years.  The American Republic finds itself on a precipice of collapse after less than 250 years. 

Here, we’re seeing it unfold right in front of us.

There is perhaps no better example of the disconnect between the ruling elites that last month’s utterance from the clown who runs the GOP in the Senate, Mitch McConnell.  He said of America sending another $45 billion to the Ukraine…. “Providing assistance for Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is the number one priority for the United States right now according to most Republicans.” That may be the biggest lie in American politics since Bill Clinton told the American people “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.”  Ukraine is not and has not been even close to the top of the list of important things to either the American people or Republicans.  According to data published by Statista the day before the election in November, of the 15 top priorities for Americans, foreign policy came in at #15 with only 37% of finding it “very important” while #1 was inflation with 69%, followed by healthcare and jobs at 62% and 61% respectively.  National security came in #4 with 60%, but most Republicans feel like the invasion on our southern border is far more threatening to the Republic than anything going on between Russia and Ukraine.  Democrats, not so much.

But that’s just one example of the elites pushing the country towards revolution.  Another is the House January 6 Committee that was set up to “investigate” the “insurrection” following the election of November 2020.  From start to finish the Committee was an exercise in gaslighting half the American population, with the ultimate goal being to keep Donald Trump off the ballot in 2024. Lapdog Liz Chaney stated as much:  “There’s no question: A man as dangerous as Donald Trump can absolutely never be anywhere near the Oval Office ever again,”

The Committee laughably accused Donald Trump of inciting an insurrection, ignored proof that Nancy Pelosi is responsible for the chaos that took place, barely spoke to Ray Epps, one of the few, if not the only person caught on tape actually encouraging protesters to break into the Capitol, and they are hiding and refusing to release of over 14,000 hours of video from the Capitol during said “insurrection”. 

Another example of the elites putting their thumbs in the eyes of average Americans is the $1.7 trillion budget that Congress passed in December. No Congress in modern history has seen an outgoing House majority pass an omnibus appropriations bill in a lame-duck session. Had Congress articulated their priorities and passed the bill before the election that would have been one thing, but they didn’t, because doing so would have allowed the American people to vote on said priorities.  Nonetheless, even without Democrats showing their anti-American hand voters decided to deliver a GOP majority to the House. Traditionally a short term spending bill would have covered the holidays and given the new GOP majority the ability to influence the remainder of the FY 2023 spending.  But the Democrats would have none of it and shived the American people just before Christmas.

Of course the GOP could have stopped it with a filibuster, but instead of giving the American people a voice 18 treacherous Republicans voted “Yes”., forcing Americans to borrow hundreds of billions of dollars to:

Send $45 billion to Ukraine, on top of the $66 billion already provided.

Ensure that $410 million "remains available" to reimburse Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia and Oman for "enhanced border security."

Spend $11 million is for LGBT-themed projects.

Prohibit any of the $339 for ICE for being used to “acquire, maintain, or extend border security technology and capabilities”.

These are things that most Americans don’t care about or specifically oppose, but the uniparty elites in Washington don’t care.  Why should they? They keep getting sent back…

And it’s not just Congress, it’s the bureaucracy and the states that are undermining the Republic.  Across the country as businesses are finding it increasingly difficult to find employees Washington and state capitals are working hand in hand to undermine a fundamental principal of American freedom, the work ethic, by providing benefits that are impossible for businesses to compete with, particularly small businesses.  In 14 states unemployment, Obamacare and welfare payments combine to generate an annual income equivalent of $80,000, and in three states,  Washington, Massachusetts and New Jersey, over $100,000.  What Bostonian in their rational mind would take a minimum wage job ($15.00) generating $31,200 a year when they can sit back and the government will simply give them $100,000 instead?  The Swamp is training Americans to be dependent on and servile to the government. Is it a surprise that the number of Americans interested in being the taxpaying suckers in this equation is dropping?

And just in case anyone missed the point, Democrats are demonstrating in real time that they can and will steal elections with impunity.  In Arizona Kari Lake’s suit laid bare exactly how the Democrats do it, without even hiding it.  Machines that are programmed to fail when and where the GOP votes are expected to dominate, insecure ballots where chain of custody is mandated and potential judicial manipulation results in a Democrat victory for a candidate who spent more time in her basement than Joe Biden did in 2020.  Maricopa County brazenly showed Americans exactly how the election was stolen in 2020 and how they were bold enough to do the same 2022, knowing they would likely succeed. And they expect us to simply accept it…

All of this, plus the most recent Kennedy assassination files and the Twitter files make it clear that the desires, opinions and votes of the American people are of no consequence to the Swamp.

The uniparty cabal of politicians, bureaucrats, academics and media don’t care about elections, about freedom or about the prosperity of the American people.  They care only about their power and their bank accounts and will do whatever it takes to maintain their control.  Donald Trump upset that apple cart and as such had to be eliminated.  Thankfully they didn’t do to him what was done to JFK, but they removed him from office nonetheless.  He’s said he’s not done. We’ll see. Will Donald Trump 2.0 turn out to be King Leonidas at Thermopylae or King Sobieski at Vienna?  Will the Swamp heed JFK’s admonition?  Only time will tell, and 2024 is fast approaching. 

81 Million Neville Chamberlains... Nuclear War, Maybe, But At Least No Mean Tweets

Vladimir Putin is a bad guy.  Vladimir Putin is a megalomaniac.  Vladimir Putin is a criminal.  All of those things are true.  Similarly, Adolph Hitler was a bad guy, a megalomaniac and a criminal. But Vladimir Putin is not Adolph Hitler and Russia in 2022 is not Germany in 1938/39.  But in both cases, the future of the world hung on / hangs in the balance.  But maybe not in the way you think…

Much of the world was already engaged in war in 1941 when the United States joined the fight.  Most of Europe and much of North Africa were under the boot of the Nazis while most of the Far East was controlled by the Japanese.  German U Boats were prowling the seas sinking ships around the world from belligerents and non belligerents alike.  There was a world war going on, we just weren’t active, frontline participants prior to Pearl Harbor. However one looks at that period, the world as we know it was under fierce attack and eventually would have enveloped the rest of the world, including the United States. 

In February 2022 none of that was true.  Sure, Russia invaded Ukraine after invading Georgia in 2008 (then leaving after six months) and annexing Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.  And sure, Vladimir Putin has been saber rattling about reconstituting the lost parts of the USSR.  But the world in 2022 was not the world in 1938/39…

NATO didn’t exist then. The UN didn’t exist then.  More importantly, the economic integration of European nations to one another and the rest of the west didn’t exist to the extent it does today.  And finally, in the late 1930s the Nazis had the most powerful military on the planet, while today Russia’s troops are rightly seen as inferior to most they would face in the West.

All of that to say when Russia invaded Ukraine in February of this year, the world was not on the brink of anything resembling a world war.  

If you took a time machine and went back to February of 2022 and asked the American people would they be willing to spend in excess of $50 billion and send the world into an economic tailspin if Russia invaded Ukraine, my guess is they would have said no.  They might have talked about bulking up NATO forces, they might have talked about sanctions, but I doubt they would have supported propping up a corrupt regime in a notoriously corrupt nation with tens of billions of dollars that would have to paid for by taxpayers already struggling under the weight of inflation and economic malaise.  Nor would they have wanted to bring America and the world to the brink of a nuclear cataclysm. 

But here we are, six months later, exactly there, with Vladimir Putin opaquely threatening to use nuclear weapons and the leader of Ukraine goading the United States to strike first with its nuclear weapons.

What is most sad about all of this is that none of it had to happen. A new piece in Foreign Affairs states “in April 2022, Russian and Ukrainian negotiators appeared to have tentatively agreed on the outlines of a negotiated interim settlement: Russia would withdraw to its position on February 23, when it controlled part of the Donbas region and all of Crimea, and in exchange, Ukraine would promise not to seek NATO membership and instead receive security guarantees from a number of countries.”  So essentially, in April, less than two months after the beginning of the war, the parties involved were close to agreement with returning to the status quo of what existed the day before Russia invaded.  But the agreement collapsed.  Why? Joe Biden…

“As soon as the Ukrainian negotiators and Abramovich/Medinsky, following the outcome of Istanbul, had agreed on the structure of a future possible agreement in general terms, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson appeared in Kyiv almost without warning.

"Johnson brought two simple messages to Kyiv. The first is that Putin is a war criminal; he should be pressured, not negotiated with. And the second is that even if Ukraine is ready to sign some agreements on guarantees with Putin, they are not. We can sign [an agreement] with you [Ukraine], but not with him. Anyway, he will screw everyone over” is how one of Zelenskyy's close associates summed up the essence of Johnson's visit.”

Now that’s Pravda, a Russian mouthpiece, but its assertion dovetails with statements Johnson made publically two weeks later:  “British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said any peace talks over Ukraine are likely to fail, as he compared holding talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiating with a crocodile. Johnson said dealing with Putin was like "a crocodile when it's got your leg in its jaws" and said it was vital that the West continues arming Ukraine.” And “Johnson said world leaders, including U.S. President Joe Biden, agreed on a call this week that they would continue to supply Ukraine with weapons, including artillery, as Russia intensified its attacks on Ukraine's East.”

So, essentially, the combatants had come to a resolution to their conflict when the west shows up and decides they’d rather have more war. The “they” in Johnson’s statement about not being on board with a peace settlement is telling.  Johnson was no doubt acting on behalf of the man who “has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades”, Joe Biden.  There’s simply no way to believe that the UK was going to put the kibosh on what could be a peaceful settlement to a potential powder keg without Washington’s approval or encouragement.

At the very moment when a fragile peace could have been worked out and negotiators begun to solve the differences between Russia and the Ukraine, Joe Biden steps in and does what he does best, mess things up.  The timeline here is interesting… Despite the fact that on March 10^th the US promised Ukraine $13 billion and on March 26^th Biden told the world that Putin "cannot remain in power," the Russian and Ukrainian negotiators were still able to come to an agreement on a peace deal.  And staggeringly, Joe Biden scuttled it.

Here we are, in September and the much of the world is in recession, prices for everything are up dramatically, the US has provided Ukraine with upwards of $60 billion in aid and Europe is facing energy shortages and skyrocketing prices just as winter approaches.  And now nuclear war is in the air.

All of this because Joe Biden wants revenge on Russia for something they didn’t even do…

Most certainly Russia tried to influence the 2016 elections in the US, but many countries do so.  It’s called statecraft and most certainly the United States does an enormous amount of it.  Nonetheless, even the Washington Post, the Democrat mouthpiece, states that the Russian’s “efforts were small in scope, relative to homegrown media efforts,” instead blaming “Fox News and the insular right-wing media ecosystem it anchors.”

And there we have it. The world of 2022 is looking a bit more like Europe of the late 1930’s and on the brink of war because of Joe Biden’s Trump Derangement Syndrome. But rather than being some troll on Twitter reposting Democrat memes from his Mom’s basement, Joe Biden is the leader of the free world and is expressing his TDS by sending billions of taxpayer dollars to Ukraine, sending the world into a global recession and threatening Russia to the point where its leader threatens to use nuclear weapons. 

On literally every single issue of consequence today Joe Biden is wrong.  On the single biggest issue of today Joe Biden has not only been wrong, but catastrophically so.  At the moment the world should be finding ways to pick itself up from the economic body blow of the Covid lunacy, the world is watching Putin hover his shaky finger over the nuclear button and wondering how many Europeans will freeze to death this winter because they don’t have enough energy to heat their homes.

In 2022 if the world finds itself in a nuclear conflict, Vladimir Putin will bear some of the blame, but he will share that with the feckless Joe Biden.  Putin’s a thug and Biden’s a dunce and everyone knows it. Most of the blame however will sit squarely on the shoulders of the purported “81 million” Americans who were so angered by “mean tweets” that they put into the most powerful office in the world someone demonstrably not capable of running a lemonade stand.  But at least, like Neville Chamberlain they had good intentions.
